This Privacy Policy explains how the "QR Code & Barcode Scanner" app ("the App", "we", "us"), published by ZonoByte ("the Developer"), handles your information.
The App works entirely on your device. We do not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no tracking.

This data stays on your device. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. You can delete individual items or clear your entire history at any time inside the App.
The App lets you export your history to a CSV or JSON file and save generated QR codes as images. These files are written to the location you choose on your device or in your own cloud storage. We are not involved in this transfer and do not receive a copy.
The App is designed to work fully offline. Scanning and QR code generation are performed on your device and do not require an internet connection. The App only uses the internet when you actively choose to open a link, map location, or other online content from a scanned code. That content is handled by your browser or another installed app and is subject to that app's and that website's own privacy practices — not this policy.
The App does not request contacts, location, microphone, phone, or SMS permissions.
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for general audiences.
Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, Android's app sandboxing). We hold no copy on any server.
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The App integrates no third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or backend services. If you download the App from Google Play, Google collects certain information as described in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy), which is outside our control.
QR Code & Barcode Scanner offers an optional "Pro" upgrade (a subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock). All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card, bank, or billing details — Google handles the transaction and only tells the App whether an active entitlement exists. Your Pro status is stored on your device so features stay unlocked offline. Manage or cancel a subscription any time in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
We may update this policy — for example, when we add features. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, note it in the store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
